10 weeks of medic course has just passed... time has flown so quickly... from the tss days i was enjoyin time after work with deb to only meeting her only on weekends to hardly seeing her next time (shall explain it blow ltr)...

new friends made... new buddies found... new lessons learnt... n now its time for us to part to move on into new chapters of our ns lives... i guess most pple r enjoying their new posting... i feel glad for them.. but i cant hide the disappointment i have for my own posting. i got commando training institute... which is a crappy PASIR RIS CAMP hidden in the midst of the forests of pasir ris.. MEDICS are meant to end work after 5 and go home... BUT... i return to my pathetic bunk everyday after 6pm... sigh. yes thats right i'll be stayin in camp for the rest of my ns life.. no bookout on weekdays jus like the rest of my buddies.. ALL PRIVILEGES REMOVED. to round off a sucky NEW WEEK in a NEW CAMP...

`Sat: DUTY MEDIC
`Sun: OPS recce
`Mon: NO OFF!
`Tues: Medical Cover for airborne

this rotten feeling worsens... when there is lousy food... when none of my buddies are here... sigh. and guess wat... OUTFIELD cover (8 rotten days in the jungle) OVERSEAS cover (Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, Brunei - 3 wks to 2 mths)

stay strong... we'll get thru dis remainin 1.5 years
